EXCELLENTVerified The highlight of my Bali honeymoon A huge shoutout to our guide Mangku on making our sunrise hike up Mount Batur a special one. This is a hike I will remember for many years to come. I felt safe and comfortable with Mangku and he was really patient when my wife needed to take a few extra breaks. His knowledge of the local area and the active volcano was really great too. Mangku found us a lovely spot away from the crowds at the top and the breakfast was energising and wholesome with a beautiful sunrise view. On top of that, Mangku’s photography skills were amazing. I will definitely be back on this guided tour when I’m in Bali.Verified Amazing sunset hike! The trek upounr Batur at Sunset was one of the highlights of my trip to Bali! We climbed steadily, at a good pace and reached the summit just before the sun went down. Such beautiful views all the way! I felt well looked after and safe as a solo female traveller. Would highly recommend adding this to your Bali itinerary.Verified Ask for Carik A very well arranged hike and really really experienced and friendly guides. CARIK kept us moving to the top of the mountain , helping us when we needed it. We were fortunate enough to have a non rainy trip up Mt Batur today (17dec2024) and even luckier to have Carik as our Guide/jeep driver.He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind, we were considered one of the weaker groups but he made sure that none of us was left behind. The bonus is when we discovered that he was a professional photographer at his previous job and we had our best photos/videos taken by Carik, whom kindly shared with us all the photos he took which was stunning!Thank you Carik for taking care of us on this adventure!Verified Unforgettable experience Can't recommend this experience enough! Trekking up Mt Batur in Bali is a must and for less experienced hikers the part Jeep and part trek tour is perfect, plus you can get some cool jeep photos. Our guide Adi was amazing, taking lots of photos for us and making sure we were okay all throughout the trek.Verified Efficient Beyond Words An experience that I can’t put a price tag! Efficient and seamless communication from the start. Jata, my personal guide, is an excellent pacer, making strategic breaks and checking on me while ascending and descending. Our driver Kadek was kind and professional, and picked us up early at our remote, hard-to-find hotel. Our trekking guide Jatayu was absolutely phenomenal—his calm demeanor kept us relaxed and at ease while his stellar photography and videography skills captured breathtaking moments we’ll treasure forever. The highlight of the trip was the unexpected hike across the ridge of Mt. Batur, where his expertise led us to stunning, off-the-beaten-path views.
